Mississippi ARNG — Operational Support Airlift
Mississippi ARNG Operational Support Airlift patch — C-12 fixed-wing detachment. Compass-star background with King Air silhouette.
Unit History & Context: The Mississippi Army National Guard's Operational Support Airlift detachment provides fixed-wing transport for senior leaders, mission-essential personnel, and time-sensitive logistics across the state and supporting federal missions. Operating the C-12 Huron — the Army's militarized Beechcraft King Air — OSA detachments fly the kind of point-to-point missions that don't fit a Black Hawk or Chinook profile. The Mississippi OSA is part of a network of state-level Army OSA assets that backstop the Army's fleet of higher-priority C-26 and UC-35 aircraft.
Symbology: Compass star background — a fixed-wing aviation convention — with the C-12 King Air silhouette overlaid. Blue/red/yellow field references both state and Army aviation colors.
For Collectors: Mississippi ARNG aviation patches are less common in the collector market than active-component or larger Guard state patches. Full color dress variant.
